A&P Tyne boasts the largest commercial dry-dock on the East Coast of England as well as one deep water berth and a significant modern fabrication facility complete with panel line, rolling, plasma and gas burning machines.
Providing world class ship repair, conversion and fabrication services across the marine and renewables sectors, A&P Tyne offers extensive storage and load-out capabilities and fully equipped workshops to manage all projects from simple ship repairs to major complex ship conversions.
A&P Tyne is a centre of excellence for ferries, offshore support vessels, cruise ships and tankers with clients including Fred. Olsen, P&O, Stena and Prysmian Group.

Fabrication Capability
A&P Tyne is also a major centre for fabrication, delivering high profile projects to the defence and marine sector. Projects include blocks for the new Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carrier and future Submarine class, the new RRS Sir David Attenborough polar research vessel and the Royal Navy’s Type 26 frigates.
A&P Tyne operates one of the largest fabrication facilities in the North East of England which includes:
