New senior appointments at APCL Group..
APCL Group has made two new appointments designed to significantly strengthen its senior leadership team.
Kevin Peart has been named Group Training Development and Apprentices Director and will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing APCL site training programmes.
Kevin - who was previously APCL’s HSEQ Director - will also play an important role in shaping the company’s future workforce to ensure its highly regarded apprenticeship programme continues to deliver the training and development necessary for apprentices to excel in their posts. He will also oversee the development and management of the APCL graduate programme.
Steve Gibney has been promoted from HSEQ Director at Cammell Laird to Kevin’s former post as APCL Group’s HSSEQ Director. Steve has a proven history of maintaining high levels of HSEQ and his new position will see him take on overall responsibility for APCL’s sites in the UK and Australia.
Steve will also work closely with Kevin to support all HSSEQ elements of APCL training and development programmes, while overseeing ongoing development and continuous improvement of the APCL safety culture improvement programme.
